If he biker's greeting hadn't clued him in, his expression would have. He looked like he was itching to start busting heads. He spoke directly to the smaller of the two blond men—pointedly ignoring the second. Billy took that to mean the three of them had history and, also, that the second blond was more than likely a subordinate.

The smaller man had a slight accent—a noticeable lengthening of his vowels. As he talked he lowered his voice and leaned forward into the taller man's space. It was a bully's move—typically used to intimidate. It didn't seem to phase the bigger man at all.
